A concert in the National Theatre of Rhodes, where an audience of 1000 people enjoyed a splendid evening of wonderful Greek music, where the very popular and famous Greek singer, Eleni Tsaligopoulou, the composer George Andreou, who played the piano, and a group of 32 young musicians playing stringed instruments, mainly mandolins, from the Municipal Orchestra of Patras, performed their most recent work entitled : “The Swallows in the Rain”, based on the poetry of Dionissis Karatzas.
Part of the money raised from this concert, was used to order 108 taped books.
These taped books will be offered to the Exchange Library for Handicapped People to assist those who are visually impaired.
