Within the context of the Woman’s Day a speech was given by the Vice-Rector of Finance and Development of the University of the Aegean Mrs. Chryssi Vitsilaki Soroniati on:«Gender and New Forms of Employment in the Information Age».
The House of Europe in Rhodes has honoured writers and members who have contributed with books, furniture and services to our Organization.
The following writers and friends of the House of Europe in Rhodes who have offered books and encyclopaedias to enrich our Club’s Library have been duly honored:

Members of the House of Europe who have contributed to the equipment of our Offices in the Medieval City have been duly honored :

- Milia Hatzidimitriou
- Lara Kontou
- Corina Aghiakatsika
- Mrs Yolanda Sanfilippo has also been honored as one of the two members who have attended the highest number of activities organized by the House of Europe since its foundation.
