Contribution of the House of Europe in Rhodes, for a 3rd consecutive year , in the organization of the program and stay of the Austrian pupils, winners of the “Olympiad of Ancient Greek” in Austria:
1) Organization and escort of the pupils at their “etiquette” visits to the Mayor of Rhodes, where a Press Conference has also been held, to the President of the Region of Southern Aegean as well as to the Archbishop of Rhodes.
2) Care for the offer of a day at the premises of the private Senior High School “Rodion Paedia”, where they have participated in the classes of ancient Greek language, and lunch was offered to them by the school where they have practically spent the whole day
3) A traditional food buffet has been prepared and offered by the members of the Board of the House of Europe in Rhodes, at its premises, in the Medieval City of Rhodes.
After lunch they have enjoyed a short musical program of greek music and singing, with Angela Spanou playing the piano and Zoe Kokkala singing.
4) Visit of the Ancient Stadium of Rhodes where a “wreath of wild olive tree ” has been offered by the House to crown the winner of an informal running contest between the pupils.
