With the European Union declaring 2018 the Year of Cultural Heritage and Rhodes celebrating 30 years since the Incorporation of our Medieval City into the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the last two days of the 6th Trial Day for Europe, Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development are dedicated to Cultural Heritage.

Friday, March 16, 2018: “Entrepreneurship: Culture, Tradition, and Environment”. We will present original business and voluntary schemes and efforts from our island that operate in the above sectors, while agencies such as AN. and the Dodecanese Chamber of Commerce will talk about their development prospects.

Saturday, March 17, 2018: “The Cultural Heritage as a Growth Lever” Local actors will talk about concrete examples of the preservation, promotion and exploitation of the Dodecanese’s intangible and intangible cultural heritage.

Both workshops will take place in the “George Karagiannis” room of the Dodecanese Chamber of Commerce. Start time 19:30.

The three-day event is organized by the House of Europe in Rhodes and the Rhodes Municipal Organization for Culture and Sport, with the support of the Dodecanese Chamber of Commerce. On the occasion of the 2018 EU Cultural Heritage Year, this year’s Three Days is dedicated to Cultural Heritage.

Admission will be free for all events.
