For 4 days from June 21st to 24th, the most melodic summer celebration is the slogan and invites us to share our feelings about music on the occasion of the 19th European Music Festival, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Tourism and the Hellenic Tourism Organization.

55 cities from the country’s 13 regions are coordinating to sound a common melody that will bring together people, generations, cultures and traditions across the country. More than 320 events and concerts and a total of 492 bands, orchestras and artistic performances by renowned and emerging artists make up this year’s European Music Festival program, which this year is dedicated to artistic expression and the enjoyment of rhythm and melody.

In Rhodes, the celebration starts on June 21 and ends on the 24th! The European Music Festival in Rhodes is co-organized by the House of Europe in Rhodes, the Rhodes Municipal Cultural-Sports Organization and the Municipality of Rhodes.

Also important this year is the participation of the 95th SNGC’s Music Association, which will be attending the main event of the Festival on Thursday June 21st of 2018, in Troulos, Mandraki. The participation of the excellent musicians of the 95th SNGC is an important proof that the Army of the Land is an integral part of Rhodes society and contributes to local, social and cultural events whenever requested. Along with the RMSCO’s Conservatories and the Dodecanese Conservatory, one of the most active participants in this year’s celebration is the Rhodes Music School, the most important artistic nursery on our island, contributing significantly to the cultural development of the island, the promotion and promotion of the artistic product and musical tradition of Rhodes, which this year celebrates its 25th anniversary.
