The Aegean University School of Humanities and Anna Lindh Foundation hosted a workshop in Rhodes entitled “Intercultural Relations in the Mediterranean: From Research to Practice”, at which the Foundation’s 2018 Annual Report was officially presented as concerns the Intercultural Trends and Social Change in the Euro-Mediterranean Area and the experience of civil society. The event took place on November 15, 2018, at the University of the Aegean.
The event was welcomed by WCHA’s Dean, Prof. Ioannis Seimeni, and Anna Lindh Foundation Executive Director, Dr Nabil Al Sharif.
Eleonora Insalaco, Head of Department presented the research. ALF Intercultural Research and Planning, with Ms. Aliki Moschi-Gauguet, Member of the ALF Advisory Board and President / Founder of the FAM Network and Stefanos Valianatos, Head of the ALF Hellenic Network and the Hellenic Division Foundation of Culture.
The event was attended by the Mayor of Rhodes, Mr. Fotis Chatzidiakos, the President of the House of Europe in Rhodes, Mr. Michalis Kavuklis, and the BoD member Lina Filippakis as much as many other members of the local academic community.
The same night, the House’s BoD of Europe in Rhodes hosted a dinner in honor of exquisite visitors.
